Journal 5 - Diary(September, 17th, 2010)

Today is the final day.  We had a breakfast in Dungjirestaurant. Most people didn't eat breakfast, but I ate breakfast. We ate stew made with frozen pollack.
We arrived at the March 15th Masan-si national Cemetery. It was the direct cause at the April 19th revolution. April 19th revolution was the movement which showed the power of the people in opposition to dictatorial government.
We arrived at the Changwon Sungsan Paechong. Paechong is shell heap. It was verified to live people from the Iron Age to the Present. At that time, people had eaten many clams. Clamshells were piled up. So, clamshells became shell heaps.
We arrived at the Woolju Cheonjeon-ri Gakseok. Gakseok is carved out of stone. We walked to look at carved out of stone. We were so hot that it is hard to walk. The stone was carved various kinds of picture. It had been carving from the New Stone Age to Silla. The rock was under water owing to the flood.
We had a lunch in Daraejungsik. We ate bean-paste potstew and steamed eggs and so forth.
We arrived at Unmunsa. There was Buddhist temple. In Koryo, there was occurred the revival of Silla. In the temple, there are many remains.
The executives split the students into three buses. So, I and my friend moved the second bus. We started to Seoul at four p.m. I slept long time in bus. We dropped into resting place. We arrived at nine. I was very, very tired. I arrived at home, I was fagged out. But, I will explore historic sites.

How get food in the cafeteria

The Sungshin Women’s University has two cafeterias. First, you have to select cafeteria. For reference, the cafeterias were operated from ten thirty a.m to six thirty p.m. Second, if the cafeteria crowed, you should save a seat. Third, you have to select menu. Menu is variety of food and price. Fourth, if you select menu, you have to pay money to person. Fifth, you have to give a color code of the token. Sixth, you should hold a spoon and fair of chopsticks. Seventh, you have to line up to receive food. For reference, lines are different for food. Eighth, you have to receive food and sit at table and eat food. Finally, you have to throw away leftover and give back dishes.

Journal 4

Diary (September, 16th, 2010)

  We had a breakfast in Hakdong big crab restaurant specializing in sliced raw fish. We didn't eat sliced raw fish. We just ate a kimchi stew.
  We arrived at Geoje-goverment office. This structure was old structure. It was built in Joseon dynasty.
  Haman is long away off from Geoje. So, we spent a long time on movement. We arrived at Haman-gun Dohang-ri ancient tombs. The ancient tombs were estimated Arakaya's tomb. Many tombs are flocked. The ancient tombs were the ruling classes' tombs.
  We had a lunch in Sonamu. We ate rice cake galbi. Galbi is the ribs. It was very delicious. I was very, very happy to eat delicious foods.
  Changnyeong-gun Songhyeondong ancient tombs took up a position on the ridge of the mountain. Many ancient tombs were robbed by the Japaness.
  Silla King Jinheung chukgyungbi erected by King Jinheung. Because King Jinheung conquered Bitbalkaya. Chukgyungbi is a tombstone. A tombstone's epitaph was worn, so we didn't read epitaph. But it is very important historical material.
  A three-storied stone pagoda locates in Changnyeon-gun Suljeong-ri. It was built in unified Silla. It showed diffusion Gyeongju's stone pagodas' pattern. Mr. Ha's straw roofed house in Changnyeong-gun Suljeong-ri is just a little way from the three-storied stone pagoda. This house has the south's local color.
  We arrived at King Suro's consort royal tomb. King Suro was Kaya's king. King Suro's consort was an Indian. The front of tomb remained Persia pagoda's stone from India.
  We have a dinner in Geumokjeong. Most food was delicious. We lodged at One motel. We allocated a room number 409.
  We went to karaoke. Most people drank, but I didn't drink. We created a pleasant atmosphere. We sang a song and dance. Really, today was funny day.

             We had a breakfast in Sunghwa restaurant. We went to Mooneicjeom’s cotton growing. Mooneicjeom brought cottons from China to Goryeo. Goryeo’s people could wear cotton clothes. So, Goryeo’s people could spend a soft winter.
We arrived at Dansoksaji. There was Buddhist temple. Dansok Buddhist temple was burned in Jungyujaeran. Now, there were two pagodas. Two pagodas were three-storied pagodas.
We arrived at Dansunghyanggyo. Hyanggyo is the Confucian temple and school to teach local students in the Joseon Dynasty period. Dansunghyanggyo was peculiar structure in Gyeongsangnam-do.
We arrived at Jinju castle. Jinju castle was very beautiful. I want to visit again. It was famous for victory in the cause of justice in Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. We had lunch in Seoul Garden. We ate Galbitang.
We arrived at Hansan island. We boarded on a ship. I was excited. Hansan island was very beautiful because of many trees and blue water. It was famous for Battle of Hansan Island in the cause of justice in Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592.
We arrived at Geoje’s prisoner of war camp. Geoje island met the conditions. Prisoner occurred by the Korean War. Geoje’s prisoner of war camp had experience the tragedy by ideology.
We had a meal at evening. We had marine bean-paste potstew. It was delicious meal. We lodged at Keunsol motel. We allocated a room number 103. Originally, a room number was 201, but other friends required to change the room. We shared the same room with ten people. I had a good time with friends at night.
